The initial licensing fee is $40,000, which includes branding, training, templates, systems, and preferred vendor access. In total, $100,000 of liquid capital is needed to get your business open and operating.
Total startup costs for the first 6 months are estimated at $50,000, including the license fee, software, website/SEO setup, PPC, CRM, and tech equipment.
Yes, Home Guys USA receives a 0.5% transaction fee on each purchase. A $10,000 minimum in annual transaction fees is required to maintain your license.

Yes. The licensing fee includes a sales training program valued at $10,000, as well as access to ongoing coaching for acquisitions, dispositions, and operations. There’s also a 3-day orientation at the Minnesota office during your first quarter (travel and meals not included).
You’ll have access to the Home Guys Nation Facebook group and national mastermind meetings, both in Minnesota and destination cities.
You’re responsible for:
- LLC and business account setup
- Hiring a real estate attorney
- Getting MLS access and an agent partner
- Finding or leasing a physical office (no PO Boxes)
- Securing a bookkeeper, CPA, insurance agent, and title company (referrals available)
